Jefferson Heritage Trail event
Poplar Forest-Michael Twitty demo

A celebration of Jeffersonian Virginia with special events held along the Jefferson Heritage Trail, between Thomas Jefferson's two homes of Poplar Forest and Monticello. Walk in Jefferson's footsteps and capture the historic flavor of his era as interpreted in the 21st century, just a short drive from Roanoke, Richmond and Northern Virginia. Held from June 2 to June 11, the trail will be a hub of events that will inspire, entertain and spotlight Central Virginia Blue Ridge's natural beauty, artisan lifestyle, and sense of place in history.
